Pissed Off

Well, I've been off blogosphere for a full month now! This very place once used to be my escape-route to a non-artificial world. Not only did it serve as a vent to all the shit inside, it also made me connect to some really awesome writers (and persons). Sorry, folks for not keeping in touch, like, absolutely.

Reason 1: Absolute inability to express anymore. Or, something like it! I've tried and tried some more. But there are no shapes, there are no figures and there are no fuckin expressions. Blogger's block, probably, if such a creature exists.

Reason 2: MBA. But that's no news. I have been suffering from this goddamned disease for 525 days now and I should have gotten used to it. But I haven't. Actually, things are in the worst probable shape ever. I want out and I want it now. I'm mighty pissed off with everything associated with this fuckin plague and that makes the mood ever-irritable.

Reason 3. MBA, again. I have lately been swamped with work. Lots.

Reason 4. Sticksports.com. I just want the motherfucker who coded this shit called Stick Cricket to get ants in his ass. Alternatively, the site can be brought down. When there's no work, I play the absolutely addictive flash game, like, all the time.

Not much has happened in life in this last month. Well yeah, Facebook happened. I finally took the plunge and am sorry I did so. For all I know, this new fad has turned everyone into a crybaby vying for attention through 'like's and comments. More on that later, sometime, probably, in the near future, if at all.

Well, that's all. Also, Indi-fuckin-blogger, all of a sudden, thinks that my blog stinks (the ratings have fallen from 80 to 65 during the month I was inactive).

  1. ratings?

Since when did you crave for someone else's stamp of approval :O

  2. Well, I joined it for other reasons. Ratings come packaged!

  3. Tch...Tch, VKG u say FB has turned everyone into a crybaby vying for attention through 'like's and comments (which i partly agree) and then u go bananas over ratings !
U ought to proof read ur writings for contradictions :P

  4. ANd u can see how addictive flash games can be...i was the victim of flash tennis :P
Though i was an even bigger victim of Rome Total Empire (damn this empire building Strategy games!)
but it gives a kick, like DCPing in RBS i guess :P

  5. @ Potty: I did not go 'bananas'. It was just a line. And, considering your evident lack of knowledge about Indiblogger and your general lack of IQ, I would suffice by saying that the line mocked the tall claims of Indiblogger where they also rated the blogs on content and readers' responses. I did not even touch my blog for one month and the ratings plummeted. How is it different from any other petty blogosphere then?

    ReplyDelete
  10. @ vicious: Yeah. To be true, I never cared about the ratings until I reached 80 :P Now when I'm back to 65, I care no more :D

    ReplyDelete
  11. @ Dipa: Yes, probably, I do need help. Badly!

    There.

The ego is livid, but kya karein, you're a good writer.

  13. Hmm..feels like a standstill haan..and thats a very common problem of not getting to write anything when your mind is diverted and moreover not able to get the preoccupied things out of it which have to be done but are not done..

You are in a continuous stage of evolution right now..and i know this shall pass..when you learn the art of compromising with some of the not so important things currently in your life..
All the best and well you took out all the frustration in calling names to whatever and whoever you felt like..hope that you felt better :P

    It will pass soon :)

    Take care..
    My best wishes :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. @ Alcina: That was reeeaally sweet and most definitely needed (: 98 days left here at hell at it shall all pass (:

    The art of compromise?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Thank you, Shruti. Guess it's fine. Even if it doesn't, I dont have a choice!

    ReplyDelete
  18. The art of compromise to be precise..I want to say that balancing and putting up the most needed thing first then the needed thing then the need then not so important thing and so on and so forth..
Basically prioritizing with each moment that passes by us done the best in these types of haphazard and totally confusing situations :)

    ReplyDelete
  19. feeling better after all the swearing and cussing? glad to see you back and blog. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  20. @ Alcina: I so want to prioritize. Everything seems to be set snug fit in the scheme of things but somehow everything messes up. Well, I know I wouldn't be making sense.

    ReplyDelete
  21. @ Alok: Well, It's not bad, per se. But it's not for everyone. If you got your priorities straight in life, and the topmost is being someone big someday, mba welcomes you with open arms.

And thanks buddy, for all the appreciation and the swearing! :P

    ReplyDelete
  22. @ Abhishek: Not really, dude. Just a way of life.

    ReplyDelete
  23. @ Shahenshah: I can. for sure, answer "Why not MBA"! :D

    ReplyDelete
  24. You know what, was just thinking about the way FB has gotten people to YEARN for likes n comments.....well should a creature of my age be wanting likes/comments/ or Should we be wanting more productive tingis!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Probably we were all a little narcissistic. FB amplified it beyond boundaries.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Rank will improve as soon as u start writing again.
    Best wishes. :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. Dude.. this sticksports stuff has happily made my life hell as well :) :( Such an addiction! but ya.. nothing should keep you away from writing for sure!

    ReplyDelete
  28. @ Chandrika: I don't really care anymore. Now I understood that the algorithm sucks! Thanks, though (:

    ReplyDelete
  29. @ Austerelyfreaky: :D Please get that site down, please!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. So much happening in ur "bas vai yar, chal raha he" life...! Chaliye, ab regularly likhna...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Awww... Noo.. (:

Indi blogger did that to my blog too when I was inactive.
And I hate the "Me Me Me' Syndrome in FB. Not to mention how it makes friendships so impersonal. No one needs to pick up the phone anymore. Just announce everything from marriage, to baby to homecoming in FB. Sheesh! |:
And Bloggers Block is a good excuse. But feed the blog too will ya. Don't let Indi effing blogger have the last laugh! :mj (:

    ReplyDelete
  32. So true!! More on the F Book soon on my blog! Will try to be regular-er! (:

    ReplyDelete
  33. @ Akshhar: Probably!! I'll try to, pal!

    ReplyDelete
  34. This too shall pass. Least u can do is get off fb.B-). One prob solved. Expressions! U really cant express a lotta things. But initially only ur gf complained. Now she has a companion-indiblogger.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I'm off it as far as you're concerned :|

I know I can't. Do not rub it in my face :|

    :/

    ReplyDelete
  36. Chill, dude. All of this happens at some point of time or the other to everyone. Calm down and everything will pass like a breeze.

    All the best.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I think u shud stop thinking abt the indiblogger ratings and do what u feel like. Get back to blogger when u really want to write and when u really have the time.

    Good luck with the MBA!!

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ Sapna: Yeah, its been a bit better for the past few days (: Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  39. @ Ria: I aint really thinking about Indiblogger. I'm surprised how only the harmless little last line made so many people comment on it. It was just something I mentioned.

    Thanks for the wishes! (:

    ReplyDelete
  40. IT is such a youthful blog...makes me aware of my age...kudos Mango man for your writing skills. My. my! I am a bit envious here....45 comments. I hardly get a dozen. How do u do it...Anyways good luck for your MBA.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Writing is and should be a cathartic experience. An outlet to vent. And silence is better than nonsensical ramblings!

    And you joined FB...ohho!!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. Thanks, Alka. (: Age, as they say, is just a number - just like the Indiblogger ratings. Hope to keep in touch!

    ReplyDelete
  43. @ Purba: ISn't that contradictory? Aren't nonsensical ramblings like these cathartic?

    ReplyDelete
  44. VKG, do not get bogged down by comments like above. Keep on scribbling nonsensical/arbit stuff. Sense is so much overrated.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Thats Indi-way of telling you to wake up dude :P
Why do you care about the ratings when you have so many readers and fans?
Cheer up! Dude and get going!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. @ DP: She probably didn't mean that. Don't worry, I don't have too much else in this world to do ;)

    ReplyDelete
  47. @ Sh@s: Yeah, probably. I will, someday, probably!!

    ReplyDelete
  48. No getting pissed off, please. Keep on writing, man. You've got a loyal base of readers you cannnot disappoint. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  49. Bhad me jaye Indiblogger bhad me jaye mba. you're doing a good job with this blog buddy...

    ReplyDelete
  50. @ Prajakta: I know and I'm grateful for that! (:

    ReplyDelete
  51. When you feel like this, you should take it easy, step back from the world and relax. Nothing's more important than yourself.

    ReplyDelete
  52. @ Shyam Sir: Yes, sir. I try to smell the flowers of the backyard of my life and they smell great. But sometimes they aren't enough. Thanks though.
